|About Dining In|
What’s a personal chef? A chef that makes the meals of your dreams, and does all the work for you.
My specialty is the creation of multi-course meals, prepared and served in your home. We’ll talk so I can learn more about what you like, and then I’ll write a menu for your approval. I’ll shop, cook, serve and clean your kitchen so that you (the client) are free to enjoy the meal and your guests. Generally, the party size is between six to 15 for sit-down meals, and 20 to 40 for buffets. I’ve created a romantic-five course dinner for two, and also a church wedding reception buffet for 100.
I teach in-home cooking classes on a variety of subjects such as basic Chinese, classic “mother” sauces and fish cookery. If you want to learn about it, I can teach you. I have also conducted demonstration classes at Kitchen Fare, The Kroger School of Cooking and William-Sonoma on a wide range of topics. Some of the classes have been knife skills, healthy sauces, crepes, rustic Italian, fondue and the perfect omelet. These classes are fun and the attendants enjoy some treats as well as learn something about the wonderful world of food.
I’m available for special events, including bachelorette parties, birthday parties, baby and wedding showers.
Dining In can accommodate your gift-giving needs by providing custom-made gift certificates for any occasion you can think of for your friends or family members – an anniversary, new home or new baby.
